Lock Jaw Clamping Mechanism
Lock Jaw Clamping Mechanism
Lock Jaw Clamping Mechanism is a revolutionary patent pending over-center cam design provides greater clamping power and easier release than similar clamps making it effortless to adjust while wearing gloves.
Probe
Probe
We recommend carrying a regular probe; however the two carbon lowers of your poles screw together to make a great back-up probe. Simply remove the baskets and screw the lower shafts together.
Inclinometer
Inclinometer
No more guessing. We’ve put markings on these poles which allow you to quickly and easily measure slope angle.
Snow Depth Ruler
Snow Depth Ruler
Inverted centimeter markings allow you to flip the pole upside down, probe with the grip and quickly measure ski penetration, boot penetration, or the depth of a snow layer you’re concerned about.
Dual Density Adventure Grip
Dual Density Adventure Grip
The Adventure grip features a utility hook that allows you to easily adjust your touring binding heel lifts, or unbuckle your boots. The dual density grip is made from a soft TPR material for superior grip, comfortable gloveless skinning and multiple hand positions while climbing. The top of the grip is contoured for comfort while palming the top of your pole yet low-profile enough to still function as a snow depth ruler.
Carbide Tip
Carbide Tip
the carbide tips offer superior penetration on icy slopes, and are less prone to rock damage or splitting.

Exo 12 Technology
Exo 12 Technology
The highest level of Exo Technology available. Twelve strings of carbon fiber mechanically applied to the length of shaft provide the lightweight benefits of carbon fiber with durability previously found only in aluminum poles.
Exo 10 Technology
Exo 10 Technology
Same controlled application process as Exo12, but constructed with 10 strings of carbon. High strength, lightweight and a great value.
Exo Technology
Exo Technology
Developed exclusively by K2, Exo Technology is the controlled process of mechanically stringing carbonfiber strands around the outermost circumference of the pole shaft. Adding carbon fiber in separate layers, rather than in a fiberglass mix, allows for a higher ratio of carbon fiber to glass, translating into the best strength-to-weight balance possible.
Carbon Fiber
Carbon Fiber
Synthetic fiber with extremely strong, lightweight characteristics. Up to 2.5 times the strength of aluminum at half the weight.
Composite
Composite
Composite construction consists of 100% synthetic fibers for a lighter weight pole with better strength than Aluminum
Aluminum
Aluminum
High-strength 7075 and 6061 aircraft aluminum seamless tubing shaft for a less expensive and durable alternative to our composite shafts.
