Who did you film with in 2011 and what are your plans for 2012?
I filmed with Disneys Winter Next X as well as K2 and Saga.In 2012 I am going to ski for Winter Park and compete in some Gatorade Freeflow, Revolution Tour and some USASA comps.
Any features or line stand out from the rest in 2011?
Winter Park Dark Territory line was my favorite, especially 4-2.
Who and what influences your style?
I like to watch edits of pros like Tom Wallisch, Sean Jordan and Sammy Carlson.
What is the first thing you pack before heading on a trip?
I pack my skis and boots
What was the best gaper moment you witnessed last season?
The best gaper moment was at my first comp of the year in Steamboat. My grandma had borrowed my dad’s skis the weekend before and turned the din way down. My dad took the skis to Steamboat and had forgotten to turn it back up. I was sitting on the lift above the 3rd jump of the slopestyle course when I saw my dad follow my sister off the jump. He went off, double ejected out of both skis on the knuckle and did a perfect superman to his face, then slid to the bottom of the course. My whole team saw it and said “Did you see that guy?!”. “Yeah, I think it was my dad”.
Best and worst travel experience of 2011?
The worst was when the airlines lost my bag and I had to wear my sisters short shorts to go swimming in the pool. My best was filming with Disney in Aspen and getting the special treatment.
Any skiers you think people should watch out for?
Yes, the people from Texas over Christmas vacation.
Any close calls last season?
I got a black eye and broke my finger skiing.
What’s the one thing you look forward to in the off-season?
I like to ride my downhill bike in Winter Park.
