Who did you film with in 2011 and what are your plans for 2012?
In January I filmed few days with Nipwitz for the episode one. After the competition season I went to Kaunertal to film for Legs of Steel's new movie “Nothing else matters”. I don't know all the plans for 2012 yet, but I hope for lot's of skiing, competing, filming and having fun!
Any features or line stand out from the rest in 2011?
My favourite feature last season was a cornerjump that we were filming with my friends at my homeresort Ounasvaara. I landed something like 5 new tricks that I have never done before, I was so stoked.
Who and what influences your style?
Lots of different skiers and snowboarders influence my style. My favorite skier changes all the time so I can't really say any certain person. However, I don't want to copy anyones style.
What is the first thing you pack before heading on a trip?
My laptop for sure!
Any words and advice for up and coming shredders?
Start training both ways spinning since the beginning! It's so much cooler to be able to do all the tricks both ways than doing some tripleflips and 16's.
What are the most essential albums to your travel playlist?
They chance all the time. Recently I have been listening to some hiphop and reggae.
What was the best gaper moment you witnessed last season?
It was in Kaunertal when we were filming for the LOS movie. I was chilling at the top of the in-run when some random snowboarder rode past us, towards the huge jump that we were filming. The boarder did a 360 first try and landed really hard to the knuckle on his side. It looked scary!
What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
Haha I have never had a job...
Best and worst travel experience of 2011?
Almost all of the trips were really good, I can't really choose the best one. Worst was probably European open. I got a really sore throat and a bad flu one day before the competition. Everyday I only skied my training and competition runs and then went down to our apartment, when everyone else were having fun at the sick railpark in perfect weather. That sucked soo much!
What’s the one thing you look forward to in the off-season?
I look forward to skateboarding and waterramping, both are good and fun activites to do while waiting the winter.
