Hard-Shell
Hard-Shell construction sets the standard for what a tough, reliable helmet is meant to be and is characterized by bonding an injection molded ABS shell to a layer of impact absorbing EPS foam. The lightweight EPS forms the inner layer of the “Hard-Shell” and is the primary component that crushes during impact to absorb and dissipate energy. Cradling the EPS is an injection molded ABS “Hard” Shell that protects the EPS from dings and nicks. -
Passive-Channel Venting™
Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets. -

K2 Baseline Audio systems brings music to your ears and/or connectivity to your phone. The speakers come pre-installed in our exclusive Baseline Audio Earpads on all designated K2 helmets. The speaker housing is designed for minimal, low-profile stowage so you won’t notice them unless the music is playing. If you would rather ride without music or phone connection, the speakers are easily removable from the earpads.
